Leave the US for the Beaches of Brazil

Hi, we're Cecilia and Darin. After 30-year careers in the US, we decided to move to South Brazil for a more peaceful, less stressful life. For us, it has been exactly that.

The food is fresh and much less processed than in the US. Since it's warm most of the year, there's more opportunity to enjoy nature and exercise. Healthcare is for everyone, even if you're not a citizen—without crushing monthly insurance payments.

We find it to be a more free society than the US. There aren't police cars roaming around looking for petty traffic violations. You don't even need a license to fish in the ocean. It works because, generally, people are more considerate of others.

The cost of living is so much less, even if you live near the beach. Moving to Brazil is not for everyone, but for us, it was the best decision for a happier life.
